MMR seeks a Graphic Design Intern specializing in motion graphics and animation to create animated assets for social media, presentations, and video.
This in-office position is located at the company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will report to Jennifer Macha, Creative Director.

Key Responsibilities:
- Create animated social graphics for different platforms and formats.
- Develop presentation graphics and animations that communicate clearly and reflect MMR’s brand.
- Design lower thirds, title cards, transitions, and other graphic elements for video post-production.
- Prepare motion files and exports for each channel and organize source assets for handoff.
- Adapt existing artwork and templates to maintain brand consistency.
- Collaborate with marketing and video teammates, incorporating feedback and revisions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Seeking a bachelor’s degree in graphic design, Visual Communications, Marketing or related field.
- Experience: A portfolio covering class, personal, and/or freelance projects is strongly preferred. No professional experience is required.
- Required Skills:
- Proactive, self-directed, and solutions-oriented
- Working familiarity with Adobe After Effects, Premier Pro, Illustrator and Photoshop
- Eagerness to learn production workflows
- Strong organizational stills and attention to detail with ability to meet deadlines and incorporate constructive feedback
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience designing for social media or presentation decks
- Familiarity with lower-third design and video editing workflows
