Job Description:
The Warehouse Supervisor role consists of managing the day-to-day functions and processes throughout the warehouse as well as the grounds. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple systems and processes related to shipping and receiving, material tracking, tool inventory and tracking, and coordinating with the Fleet Safety Administrator.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
Shipping and Receiving:
- Check in all material delivered to the warehouse and verify the contents of each shipment
- Ensure all paperwork is in order and filed properly
- Oversee all shipping and receiving activities related to the warehouse
- Keep accurate records of all tools that are issued to employees &/or job sites
- Store and maintain all MMR owned tools and equipment
- Support fleet activities including tracking truck/trailer inspections, registrations, and maintenance schedules
- Assist with inventory tracking of fleet assets and ensure fleet records are current
- Help create and maintain truck books with proper documentation by ensuring that all up-to-date documents are sent to districts in a timely manner
- Manage the MMR yard regarding lawn upkeep
- Ensure the warehouse and grounds are clean and free of potential hazards
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 2+ years of warehouse experience; leadership experience preferred
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask and manage time effectively
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion
