Pay: $43-$50/hour based on experience
Per Diem: $150/day paid for days worked if all qualifications are met

Job Description:

MMR is seeking Cost Engineer candidates to manage project cost control processes, including labor productivity tracking, earned value analysis, forecasts, pay applications, invoice audits, and cost reporting to provide accurate financial insight to project leadership. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:

  • Track labor productivity and budget performance
  • Maintain cost reports and forecasts
  • Perform earned value and variance analysis
  • Support change order pricing and estimates
  • Monitor quantities and commodity usage
  • Provide financial insights to project leadership
  • Build and maintain account receivable and payable reports
  • Create and submit monthly pay applications
  • Perform labor, equipment, and material invoice audits
  • Maintain material sales tax logs 
  • Perform other related duties as assigned by supervisor and upper management.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • BS degree in Accounting, Business Management, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering or related field; or an equivalent relevant work experience
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize, organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision
  • Ability to coordinate a variety of projects simultaneously
  • Ability to demonstrate flexibility and creativity
  • Working knowledge of MS Office software
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills are required
  • Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Willingness to work flexible, varying hours, including evenings and weekends as needed
  • Regular and reliable attendance at work
