MMR is seeking candidates for the position of Project Estimator at its corporate headquarters. The responsibilities would include, but not limited to, the following:
- Attend pre-bid and post-bid meetings virtually or in person.
- Prepare complete and accurate quantity takeoffs and bill of materials.
- Develop, submit, and obtain answers to requests for information.
- Prepare, solicit, and review quotes from vendors and subcontractors.
- Review drawings, specifications, and other RFP documents to ensure estimate is 100% compliant.
- Prepare and assemble proposals for submittal to the client.
- Facilitate the estimate turnover process to project management.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- BS degree in Construction Management, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent estimating experience
- Knowledge of industry standards and regulations
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office software
- Ability to exercise good judgment and problem-solving skills
- Strong organizational skills to manage multiple estimates simultaneously
- Ability to work collaboratively in team environment
- Able to work effectively under time pressure and/or deadline
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
