We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Communications Coordinator to champion internal communication across 30 district offices. This individual will play a critical role in driving consistent, engaging communication across all levels of the organization. The ideal candidate has experience identifying internal communication needs, gathering business requirements, and delivering successful projects from concept to execution—such as newsletters, intranets, and organization-wide initiatives.
This in-office position is located at the company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will report to the Director of Marketing.

What You’ll Do Every Day:
Duties/Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Develop and implement a comprehensive internal communications strategy tailored to a multi-location and bilingual workforce.
- Plan and manage content for channels such as company-wide newsletters, all-employee emails, digital signage, and internal announcements.
- Partner with IT to develop and launch an employee intranet, ensuring it meets the needs of both field and office employees.
- Ensure internal messaging is clear, engaging, and aligned with company values and business priorities. Determine metrics to track effectiveness.
- Support the strategy, development and launch of successful Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) across the organization.
- Coordinate with our Director of Events & Philanthropy on all event marketing needs and serve as the project manager to ensure all requests are handled by appropriate team members.
What We’re Looking For:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.
- Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a Communications Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Operations, or similar role.
- Required Skills:
- Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle concurrent deadlines
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at crafting executive-level summaries and presentations
- Experience driving an enterprise-wide initiative from concept to execution with proven results
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Preferred Skills:
- Experience in a role supporting multi-region or multi-office teams
- Proficiency in project management tools, such as Monday.com
