The Internal Communications Manager is responsible for developing and executing enterprise-wide communication strategies that inform, engage, and align employees with company priorities. This role partners cross-functionally to ensure consistent messaging, enhance employee engagement, and strengthen organizational culture across all locations.

This in-office position is located at the company’s headquarters in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and will report to Erinn Bocock, Director of Marketing.

Key Responsibilities:

Strategy & Governance

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive internal communications strategy aligned with company goals and values
  • Establish and track performance metrics to evaluate communication effectiveness and continuously improve impact

Content & Channel Management

  • Plan, create, and manage content across all internal channels including email communications, newsletters, digital signage, and announcements
  • Oversee Spectrio/digital signage messaging across 50+ devices, ensuring timely and consistent updates

Employee Intranet

  • Partner with IT to launch and optimize the employee intranet
  • Own ongoing content strategy and governance, including weekly, monthly, and quarterly updates

Employee Engagement Programs

  • Lead and sustain key engagement initiatives, including the Employee Spotlight Program
  • Support development and promotion of employee-focused programs that strengthen culture and recognition

Corporate Communications

  • Lead marketing efforts for Town Hall meetings and the annual Managers’ Meeting
  • Serve as the lead for all change communications, company announcements (memos), and major updates
  • Partner with leadership and HR to ensure messaging is timely, accurate, and aligned with business priorities

What We’re Looking For:

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field.

Experience: A minimum of 2–4 years of experience in a Communications Coordinator, Marketing Coordinator, Marketing Operations, or similar role.

Required Skills:

  • Strong project management skills with meticulous attention to detail and the ability to juggle concurrent deadlines
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills; adept at crafting executive-level summaries and presentations
  • Experience driving an enterprise-wide initiative from concept to execution with proven results
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

Preferred Skills:

  • Experience in a role supporting multi-region or multi-office teams
  • Proficiency in project management tools, such as Monday.com
  • Proficiency in email marketing and SMS tools, such as Mailchimp
