Job Description:
MMR is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to assist in the development and production of training materials for our MMR University program at the Baton Rouge office. MMR University serves as MMR’s workforce development initiative, addressing all company training needs. The selected candidate will play an essential role in creating learning solutions that enhance technical proficiency, drive efficiency, and ensure compliance.
Job Duties include but are not limited to:
- Develop curriculums and implement instructional design methods to enhance learning effectiveness.
- Assist with the development of multimedia elements, including video scripts, quizzes, and interactive exercises.
- Coordinate with various departments to verify that all courses meet accuracy requirements and comply with relevant industry standards.
- Evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, feedback, and performance metrics.
- Support the maintenance and updates of existing training content to align with current standards, procedures, and regulations.
- Stay up to date on the latest trends in instructional design, learning experience design (LXD), and facilitation techniques
- Other duties and projects assigned.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Instructional Design, Education, Communication, or equivalent experience.
- Working knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Proficient in eLearning authoring tools such as Articulate 360, Adobe Premiere Pro, Cana, Adobe Creative Suite or similar.
- Basic knowledge of LMS platforms. (e.g. Docebo)
- Ability to upload, track, and report on employee training.
- Familiarity with instructional design models. (e.g. ADDIE).
- Ability to work independently and with a team to organize, problem solve, and exercise good judgement with minimal supervision.
- Ability to coordinate multiple projects and assignments.
- Strong organizational and interpersonal skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Regular and reliable attendance at work.
- Ability to work 40 hours or more a week Monday through Friday in-person from 8am-5pm.
